The Office of the Board of Governors
The Office of the Board of Governors is led by a chancellor appointed by the Board. The Chancellor serves as the Chief Executive Officer. The mission of the Office is to mobilize resources and diverse constituencies to govern and advance the State University System of Florida by supporting and advocating for high-quality teaching, research, and public service. Board staff are committed to the values of creativity, discovery, and innovation; student access, learning and success in the global community and marketplace; collaboration, respect, and appreciation of diversity; and transparency, shared responsibility, and continuous improvement.
